About AI4GOOD

Founded in 2020, AI4GOOD was born from a clear and compelling belief: artificial intelligence should serve the collective good, not only a privileged few. What began as a small collaboration among like-minded researchers has since evolved into a global, interdisciplinary movement uniting technologists, social scientists, and community leaders.

The organization’s journey started in a shared workspace in San Francisco, where its founders—then working on independent AI initiatives—recognized the potential of combining their expertise. Together, they set out to tackle some of the world’s most urgent challenges, including healthcare access, education quality, climate change, and economic in equality.

Today, AI4GOOD operates in more than 20 countries, collaborating with NGOs, governments, and local communities to design AI solutions that are ethical, inclusive, and impactful. Guided by human values, we believe technology can be a powerful catalyst for lasting, positive change.
